Adobe Flash Player Not Responding Mac

Hi! I've been having an issue with my flash player for a looooooooooong time now. Basically, whenever I go to a site such as www.youtube.com the box where the movie should be just says: Click Here to Download Plugin, and whenever I click to download it, the automatic download fails and I have to go to the manual download. Well, that all works fine (I've tried both the .dmg and the .zip files) until it opens the Adobe Flash Page after the download and installation are complete, and I still get that message that I need to download the plugin that I definitely JUST downloaded and installed.
This has been going on for a very annoying two weeks now, and I've even gone through my desktop and deleted a bunch of my stuff in order to free up my memory and get my computer running a tad bit faster, but that didn't do anything. Frankly, I'm annoyed, and just one step from taking my computer to the store and getting them to look at it.
I have an Imac G5
Model: PowerMac8.2
CPU Type: Power PC G5 (3.0)

Adobe Flash and Internet Explorer Not Working?

Are you having one of those days where you just setup a new machine and you bang your head against the wall just to get some Adobe Flash working? Well, a quick Google search will send you to a few Adobe KB articles, but the simple fact is, if the program installs, then all you need to do for Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7 is:

1) Open Internet Explorer

Another option could be that you do not have the rights to edit your Chrome settings because you are using an organization's specific version of the browser. IPhone On devices running on iOS, it is not possible to enable Flash. Android Flash is not supported under Android. To begin, open Google Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner. In the drop-down menu, select Settings: Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced: In the Privacy and security section, click Content settings: In the list that appears, scroll down to Flash and make sure that the option Ask first is activated: If it isn't, click Flash and click the slider next to Ask first to activate it: If you don't see these settings, you are likely operating under an old version of Chrome.

2) If your menu item isn’t showing. Right click on the top part next to the URL address and select Command Bar.

3) Underneath Safety or Tools. Uncheck ActiveX Filtering

4) Restart your browser and now go to somewhere that has Flash and try it again.
